Aaron Eckhart planuieste sa joace in filmul The Expatriate, noul film al regizorului Philipp Stölzl, spune Deadline.
Scenariul este despre un agent CIA (Eckhart) care, alaturi de fiica sa, se muta in Belgia unde va fi implicat intr-o conspiratie corporatista iar cei implicati il vor pe el si familia lui morti.
Stölzl e cunoscut ca regizor de videoclipuri muzicale (Rammstein’s “Du hast”) si a mai scris si regizat doua filme nemtesti: North Face si Goethe!.

Filmarile sunt planuite sa inceapa devreme anul viitor in Belgia si Montreal si nu se cunosc detalii despre alti actori implicati in proiect in afara de Aaron Eckhart.

Aaron Eckhart has plans to star in The Expatriate, a new film from director Philipp Stölzl, reports Deadline.
The script focuses on a former CIA officer (Eckhart) who, along with his teen daughter, moves to Belgium, unwittingly becoming involved a corporate conspiracy that would see him and his family dead.
Stölzl is best known domestically as a music video director, notably for Rammstein’s “Du hast.” He has also written and directed two German-language films, North Face and the just-released Goethe!. The script for The Expatriate comes from newcomer A.E. Amel.
The current plan is to shoot in both Belgium and Montreal early next year. Casting outside of Eckhart has not yet been announced.
