Will Ferrell impreuna cu 1.580 de eroi intra in Cartea Recordurilor pentru cea mai mare adunare de super-eroi la un eveniment; animatia Megamind.

Evenimentul ce a intrat in Cartea Recordurilor sub denumirea de “Largest Gathering of Superheroes” si a avut loc sambata, 2 octombrie la Los Angeles, unde 1.580 de oameni imbracati in super-eroi in frunte cu actorul Will Ferell au sarbatorit un eveniment, organizat de DreamWorks Animation, cu ocazia lansarii in cinematografe a filmului de animatie Megamind incepand cu data de 5 noiembrie.

Adunarea a avut loc la orele 10 si acestia au pornit catre L.A. LIVE din centrul Los Angeles unde cat mai multi oameni imbracati in super-eroi, din filme si benzi desenate sau intalnit pentru a depasi recordul anterior de 1.501 de super-eroi.

Ajunsi la L.A. LIVE, Will Ferell impreuna cu echipa din Megamind ii astepta pe scena iar ca martor a fost chiar judecatorul Cartii Recordurilor, oficialul Stuart Claxton, care a tinut un discurs si a verificat ca recordul sa fie viabil.

In acea luna, numita MegaMonth*, in toata tara oamenii s-au costumat in super-eroi, cu ocazia lansarii productiei DreamWorks Animation, Megamind, a caror eroi principali au primit voce de la Will Ferell si Brad Pitt.

Evenimentele MegaMonth au avut loc peste tot prin tara, inclusiv concursuri regionale Mega, un week-end in care a avut loc un maraton Mega si un festival gastronomic Mega. MegaMonth a reprezentat luna Mega evenimentelor DreamWorks Animation si au fost Mega-big, Mega-bold si Mega-Mega!

Los Angeles, CA (Oct 2, 2010) – Will Ferrell and 1,580 of his closest costumed superhero friends united on Saturday, October 2nd and made heroic history as they smashed the current Guinness World Records title for Largest Gathering of Superheroes. The Mega-event was open to caped crusaders everywhere and was hosted by DreamWorks Animation to celebrate the November 5th release of MEGAMIND.

The attempt commenced promptly at 10:00 a.m. as superheroes swooped into L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. To qualify for the record attempt, participants had to arrive dressed as an easily recognisable superhero that has appeared in a published book, comic, television programme or film, as stipulated by the record guidelines. A minimum of 1,501 superheroes were needed to break the previous world record.

Will Ferrell, alongside Megamind, took to the stage at L.A. LIVE to lead his band of superhero supporters into the record books. The feat was witnessed by official Guinness World Records Adjudicator and Spokesperson, Stuart Claxton, who judged and verified the attempt adhered to the strict guidelines of the record category before he announcement that the record had been successful broken.

The world record setting event marked the kickoff of MegaMonth, an official month dedicated to Mega-events across the country in celebration of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation release of MEGAMIND, starring the voices of Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt.

Events scheduled across the country, which include Mega regional contests, Mega marathon weekend races and Mega food festivals. MegaMonth is DreamWorks Animation’s month of Mega events. These events are Mega-big, Mega-bold and Mega-Mega!
