Taking Woodstock este regizat de Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hulk, Brokeback Mountain, si Lust, Caution) iar scenariul este scris de James Schamus (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hulk, si Lust, Caution).
Filmul este bazat pe cartea cu acelasi nume a lui Elliot Tiber si Tom Monte. In acest film au roluri Eugene Levy, Imelda Staunton, Emile Hirsch, Liev Schreiber, Jeffrey Dean Morgan si multi alti actori.
Focus Features va lansa Taking Woodstock in cinematografe din 14 august.

Based on a true story, Taking Woodstock stars Demetri Martin as Elliot Tiber, a boy working at his parents’ motel in the Catskills who agrees to host Woodstock in their backyard and inadvertently sets into motion the generation-defining concert in the summer of 1969.
Taking Woodstock is directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Ang Lee, of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hulk, Brokeback Mountain, and Lust, Caution previously. The screenplay was written by Lee’s writing partner James Schamus, of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hulk, and Lust, Caution previously. This is based on Elliot Tiber and Tom Monte’s book of the same name. In addition to Demetri Martin, this stars Eugene Levy, Imelda Staunton, Emile Hirsch, Liev Schreiber, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and a whole boat load of other actors. Focus Features will be bringing Taking Woodstock to limited theaters on August 14th.
