Heat Vision au confirmat pe Latino Review ca Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2) este in negocieri sa joace rolul tatalui lui Conan in filmul produs de Lionsgate, Conan, ce va fi regizat de Marcus Nispel.
Sean Hood este cel insarcinat cu rescrierea scenariului filmului Conan, bazat pe mitul cuceritorului lui Robert E. Howard.
In filmul fantastic-actiune-aventura Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis) va juca in rolul lui Conan Barbarul si Leo Howard va fi varianta tanara a acestuia.
Filmarile incep in Bulgaria din 15 martie.
Povestea filmului este despre imbarcarea lui Conan intr-o calatorie pentru a-i gasi pe cei vinovati de uciderea poporului sau si razbunarea acestora.

Heat Vision has confirmed a Latino Review scoop that Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2) is in negotiations to play Conan’s father in Lionsgate’s Conan, to be directed by Marcus Nispel.
Filming on the fantasy action adventure, in which Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis) plays Conan the Barbarian and Leo Howard a younger version of the character, will start in Bulgaria on March 15th.
The story sees Conan embark on a quest to avenge the slaughter of his people.
