S-au anuntat cateva date de lansare si detalii despre titluri 3D care vor apare in format Blu-ray:
Sony va lansa noul “3D Starter Kit”(poza), pachet care contine doua perechi de ochelari 3D si o copie a filmului, in format 3D Blu-ray, a lui Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland. Aceasta oferta este valabila timp de 60 de zile de la lansare, apoi, pe 7 decembrie, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment va lansa Alice 3D Blu-ray pentru toata lumea.
Filmul de groaza lansat in 2009, My Bloody Valentine va fi lansat in format 3D Blu-ray din 5 octombrie. Acesta va fi primul film filmat in intregime cu camere 3D, care va apare in format 3D Blu-ray. Video va fi la o ratie de 1.85:1, iar sunetul 7.1 DTS-HD MA sound. Inca nu s-au anuntat bonusurile ce vor fi incluse.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment au anuntat editia 3D Blu-ray al filmului de animatie computerizata Open Season, care va ajunge pe piata din 16 noiembrie. Doua dintre discurile bonus vor include: Wheel of Fortune: Forest Edition si Voice-a-Rama (prezentate tot in 3D).
Warner Home Video au anuntat data de 16 noiembrie ca data de lansare a nu mai putin de 6 titluri Blu-ray 3D: Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Clash of the Titans, The Polar Express si documentarele IMAX Deep Sea, Space Stationsi Under the Sea.
Toate aceste titluri 3D Blu-ray vor include si variantele 2D ale filmelor. Clash and Cats & Dogs 2 va veni intr-un pachet ce contine DB/DVD/Copie Digitala. Copia Digitala va contina si un bonus “Coyote Falls,” un nou scurt-metraj Looney Tunes animat in 3D.

Sony is now shipping a new 3D Starter Kit, featuring two pairs of active-shutter glasses and an exclusive copy of the 3D Blu-ray of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. This exclusivity deal with Sony 3D equipment ends after 60 days. Then, on December 7, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will release the Alice 3D BD for general availability.
The 2009 horror movie My Bloody Valentine will splatter its way onto 3D Blu-ray exclusively at Best Buy October 5th. This will mark the first live-action motion picture shot natively in 3D to hit the format. The film will be presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1, with 7.1 DTS-HD MA sound. No special features have been announced at this time.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the 3D Blu-ray edition of the CG animated movie Open Season, which will be available for all to purchase on November 16. Two of the disc’s bonus features (Wheel of Fortune: Forest Edition and Voice-a-Rama) have also received a 3D makeover.
Warner Home Video has announced that on November 16 it will release six 3D BDs unfettered by exclusive hardware bundles: Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (WHV’s first 3D day-and-date title), Clash of the Titans, The Polar Express, and the IMAX documentaries Deep Sea (previously Sony-exclusive), Space Station (previously bundled with LG hardware overseas) and Under the Sea (previously LG-exclusive).
All these 3D Blu-ray releases will include 2D BD versions of the films. Clash and Cats & Dogs 2 will come in BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo packs. The latter will include as a bonus “Coyote Falls,” a new Looney Tunes short – animated in 3D.
