Orlando Bloom (Pirates of Carribean) , Vincent Cassel (Les Rivières pourpres) si Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) vor fi colegi in noul film al lui Andre Niccol (Gattaca), The Cross.
The Cross va fi un sci-fi, cu un buget alocat de 24 milioane de $, si va avea loc la periferia unui oras unde un om incearca sa treaca o granita misterioasa cum nimeni nu a mai reusit.
Bloom va juca rolul celui care incearca sa treaca acea granita iar Cassel va fi paznicul care face tot ce este necesar pentru al impiedica sa reuseasca.
Pre-productia a inceput deja, iar filmarile vor incepe din luna iulie in Australia.

Orlando Bloom is headed to the “near future” next in a sci-fi escape movie titled The Cross. Bloom will be joined by Vincent Cassel and Bond girl Olga Kurylenko in the next feature from director Andrew Niccol (of Gattaca, S1m0ne, and Lord of War previously). The $24 million sci-fi escape story, set in a border town, is about a man seeking to cross a mysterious border, something which no one else has achieved. Bloom will play the one trying to cross that border, while Cassel will play the guard who will go to any lengths to prevent him. Pre-production has already started and shooting will begin in July in Australia.
