Cu cateva zile in urma s-a anuntat o comedie inca fara titlu, de Judd Apatow pregatita sa fie lansata la data de 1 iunie 2012, iar pe langa acest film Universal Pictures au publicat datele de lansare a catorva filme care vor fi lansate pana in anul 2013.
Studioul vrea sa lanseze filmul regizat de Tom Hanks, Larry Crowne din 1 iulie 2011, film in care rolurile principale sunt interpretate de Hanks, Julia Roberts, Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, Bryan Cranston, George Takei si Peter Scolari; aceasta comedie va fi lansata in aceeasi zi cu productia Paramount, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Din 10 februarie 2012 urmeaza sa fie lansat thriller-ul Safe House, regizat de Daniel Espinosa iar rolurile principale vor fi interpretate de Denzel Washington si Ryan Reynolds.
Din 16 martie 2012 va fi lansat Contraband, un thriller regizat de Baltasar Kormakur cu actorii Mark Wahlberg si Kate Beckinsale.
Universal au fixat data de 3 august 2012 pentru The Bourne Legacy, scris si regizat de Tony Gilroy.
Adaptarea lui Platinum Dune dupa productia Hasbro, Ouija are ca data de lansare incepand cu 9 noiembrie 2012, urmat de filmul regizat de Carl Eric Rinsch, 47 Ronin, in care vor juca Keanu Reeves, ce va fi lansat din 21 noiembrie 2012; in aceeasi zi urmeaza sa lanseze si DreamWorks Animation, The Guardians.
Regizorul Rupert Sanders si al sau film Snow White and the Huntsman au o data fixata din 21 decembrie 2012 iar primul film bazat pe o carte scrisa de Stephen King, The Dark Tower, a lui Ron Howard e programat din 17 mai 2013.

In addition to yesterday scheduling the Untitled Judd Apatow Comedy for June 1, 2012, Universal Pictures has set more release dates for its big projects through 2013.
The studio is looking at releasing the Tom Hanks-directed Larry Crowne on July 1, 2011. Starring Hanks, Julia Roberts, Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, Bryan Cranston, George Takei and Peter Scolari, the comedy will be facing Paramount’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon on that same day.
Coming to theaters on February 10, 2012 will be the thriller Safe House, directed by Daniel Espinosa and starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.
That will be followed on March 16, 2012 by Contraband, the Baltasar Kormakur thriller starring Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale.
Universal is targeting an August 3, 2012 release for The Bourne Legacy, written and directed by Tony Gilroy.
