Warner Bros. Pictures si Legendary Pictures au anuntat ca Amy Adams va interpreta rolul lui Lois Lane in noua pelicula regizata de Zack Snyder, Superman.
Amy Adams va juca alaturi de Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman) din echipa mai facand parte si Diane Lane si Kevin Costner in rolurile lui Martha si Jonathan Kent.
Amy Adams a fost nominalizata la oscar de trei ori in cinci ani, ultima sa nominalizare fiind pentru rolul din drama The Fighter unde joaca alaturi de Mark Wahlberg si Christian Bale. Celalalte nominalizari sunt pentru filmele Doubt si Junebug. Amy a mai jucat si in filme ca Enchanted, Julie & Julia, Charlie Wilson’s War si Catch Me If You Can. Urmatoarele filme in care va avea roluri sunt On the Road, regizat de Walter Salles unde coleg de platou va fi Viggo Mortensen si The Muppets.
Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan si Deborah Snyder sunt producatorii filmului Superman iar scenariul este scris de David S. Goyer bazat pe o poveste de Goyer si Nolan. Thomas Tull si Lloyd Phillips sunt producatori executivi.
Superman va avea o data de lansare in cinematografe candva in luna decembrie a anului 2012.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Amy Adams will star in the coveted role of Lois Lane in the new Zack Snyder-directed Superman feature film.
Amy Adams will star opposite Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman in the film. The main cast also includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, as Martha and Jonathan Kent.
Amy Adams was recently honored with her third Oscar nomination in five years, for her performance in the true-life drama The Fighter, with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. She previously earned Oscar nominations for her work in the acclaimed films Doubt and Junebug. She has also starred in such diverse hits as Enchanted, Julie & Julia, Charlie Wilson’s War, and Catch Me If You Can. She will next be seen in Walter Salles’ On the Road with Viggo Mortensen and The Muppets.
Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers.
Superman is currently scheduled for release in December 2012.
