Huffington Post au publicat doua poze cu Jake Gyllenhaal din Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time iar Entertainment Weekly au publicat prima poza din film in exclusivitate si a aparut si o noua poza infatisandu-l pe Ben Kingsley in rolul lui Nazam dar si o poza cu Gemma Arterton in rolul lui Tamina.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time este produs de Jerry Bruckheimer, e regizat de cel responsabil si cu Donnie Brasco, Mona Lisa Smile and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire pe nume Mike Newell, iar scenariul este scris de creatorul original al jocului cu acelasi nume Jordan Mechner, impreuna cu alti scenaristi.
Filmul va fi distribuit de Disney incepand cu data de 28 mai 2010.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is being produced by powerhouse producer Jerry Bruckheimer, directed by Donnie Brasco, Mona Lisa Smile and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire helmer Mike Newell, and written by one of the game’s original creators, Jordan Mechner, amongst a handful of other prominent screenwriters. Disney has pushed the release date back all the way to May 28th, 2010 next year.
