Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2) va juca in productia Relativity Media, War of the Gods alaturi de Henry Cavill si Freida Pinto.
Rourke e programat sa interpreteze rolul negativ, al Imparatului Hyperion, in acest film regizat de Tarsem Singh a caror filmari incep in luna aprilie.
War of the Gods este despre un tanar luptator, Theseus, care-si conduce oamenii intr-o lupta impotriva zeilor nemuritor greci pentru a dobora titanii malefici si a salva omenirea.
Universal va fi distribuitorul filmului iar producatorii vor fi Gianni Nunnari de la Hollywood Gang Productions, Mark Canton de la Atmosphere Entertainment si Ryan Kavanaugh de la Relativity. Nunnari si Canton au mai facut echipa si la filmul 300.

Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2) will star in Relativity Media’s War of the Gods opposite Henry Cavill and Freida Pinto.
Rourke is set to play the villain, King Hyperion, in the Tarsem Singh-directed film which starts shooting in April.
War of the Gods follows a young warrior Theseus who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind.
Universal will distribute the film produced by Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang Productions, Mark Canton of Atmosphere Entertainment and Relativity’s Ryan Kavanaugh. Nunnari and Canton previously partnered on 300.
