Paramount Home Entertainment au anuntat lansarea pe Blu-ray a filmului de actiune/aventura The Last Airbender, regizat de M. Night Shyamalan, incepand cu data de 16 noiembrie, in doua editii: Un pachet de doua discuri DB/DVD Copie Digitala si o editie pe un singur disc Blu-ray.
Discul Blu-ray va contine in jur de doua ore de materiale video din culise si bonusuri (la editia de 2 discuri). Acest film a fost filmat cu camera normala 2D si apoi convertit in 3D si inca nu s-a anuntat nici o data de lansare pentru varianta Blu-ray 3D.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the action/adventure movie The Last Airbender, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, for Blu-ray release on November 16, in two editions: a two-disc BD/DVD Digital Copy combo pack and a single-disc Blu-ray. It will feature “over two hours of in-depth, behind-the-scenes special features” (albeit most of them on the combo only). Although this movie was shown theatrically in 3D (converted in post-production from native 2D), no 3D Blu-ray edition has been announced as of yet.
Special features include:
- Avatar Annotations (Picture-in-picture on select scenes) – Insights with cast and crew
- Discovering The Last Airbender (nine-part documentary in HD)
- Inspirations – Co-creators of the show and M. Night Shyamalan give insight into the inner journey the characters take
- Spirituality – Explore the deeper spirituality that colors The Last Airbender
- Heroes – Aang, Katara and Sokka journey together to save the world; behind-the-scenes piece provides a closer look at these characters and the actors
