Dwayne Johnson (Fast Five) va juca in filmul de actiune-thriller Snitch pentru Exclusive Media Group, spune Variety.
Inspirat din evenimentele adevarate povestite in documentarul de pe postul PBS “Frontline”, povestea filmului este despre un tata devotat a-l carui fiu este condamnat la 30 de ani de puscarie dupa ce a fost prins facand trafic de droguri. Tatal se infiltreaza in lumea drogurilor pentru a-l prinde pe vinovat si a-l elibera pe fiul sau.
Ric Roman Waugh va regiza si va rescrie scenariul lui Justin Haythe. David Fanning si Gordon Gray sunt producatorii.
Filmarile sunt planificate sa inceapa in luna iunie.

Dwayne Johnson (upcoming Fast Five) will star in the action-thriller Snitch for Exclusive Media Group, reports Variety.
Inspired by true events chronicled in a PBS “Frontline” documentary, the film centers on a devoted father whose son faces 30 years in prison after being set up in a drug deal. The father goes undercover in the drug world to make a bust that will free his son.
Ric Roman Waugh will direct and is rewriting a script by Justin Haythe. David Fanning and Gordon Gray are producing.
Filming is scheduled to start in June.
