Universal Pictures l-au cooptat pe Ron Howard sa regizeze The Parsifal Mosaic, o adaptare dupa cartea de thriller-spionaj a autorului Robert Ludlum (The Bourne Identity), precizeaza Variety.
David Self va adapta nuvela lui Ludlum despre un agent CIA care crede ca a fost martor la executia iubitului dupa ce a fost identificat ca fiind un dublu agent KGB.
Casa de productie a lui Brian Gazer, Imagine Entertainment alaturi de partenerii sai de la Captivate Entertainment Jeffrey Weiner si Ben Smith vor produce pelicula iar David Barnardi de la Imagine va fi producator executiv.
Universal are in dezvoltare si a patra parte din franciza “Bourne” a carui regizor e Paul Greengrass si The Sigma Protocol, o adaptare a unui thriller scris tot de Ludlum.

David Self will adapt the Ludlum novel about a CIA operative who thinks he witnessed the execution of his lover after she was identified as a KGB double agent.
Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer will produce with Captivate Entertainment partners Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith. Imagine’s David Bernardi will be executive producer.
Universal is separately developing a fourth “Bourne” installment with director Paul Greengrass and The Sigma Protocol, an adaptation of yet another Ludlum thriller.
