RiskyBiz spun ca Reynolds va face echipa cu Bradley Cooper pentru un film politist de actiune-comedie dupa un scenariu scris de Sheldon Turner ce a fost nominalizat la Academy Award pentru Up in the Air impreuna cu regizorul Jason Reitman.
In acest filml, care inca nu a primit titlu, Cooper si Reynolds sunt doi prieteni politisti in San Francisco ai caror parinti au fost si ei candva parteneri in politie. Lucrurile incep sa devin interesante atunci cand acestia isi aduc tatii, acum retrasi, sa-i ajute la rezolvarea unui caz.
Acest proiect a fost creeat acum cinci ani si se numea Blowback si rolul principal trebuie sa-i apartina lui Dwayne Johnson. In aceasta noua versiune, fara nume, producatorii Neal Moritz (Fast Five, Green Hornet) si Andrew Panay (Wedding Crashers) nu au semnat cu nici un studio, inca, dar cu nume ca Cooper/Reynolds implicati in proiect, nu este decat o chestie de timp.

RiskyBiz reports Reynolds is going to team-up with Bradley Cooper for a buddy cop action comedy from screenwriter Sheldon Turner who was nominated for an Academy Award for writing Up in the Air with director Jason Reitman. The currently untitled film would see Cooper and Reynolds as two San Francisco cops and friends, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. Things get interesting when they have to bring their fathers out of retirement to help crack a new case.
Apparently this project was once attempted five years ago (back then it was called Blowback) and had Dwayne Johnson attached to star. This new version from producers Neal Moritz (Fast Five, Green Hornet) and Andrew Panay (Wedding Crashers) isn’t yet set up at any studio yet, but with names like Cooper/Reynolds involved, it should only be a matter of time.
