THR au anuntat ca, castigatorul Oscarului, scenaristul Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, The Way of the Gun si Valkyrie) a fost angajat de Fox sa scrie scenariul urmatorului film Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman se va intoarce in rolul lui Logan dar va fi si producator al peliculei, alaturi de Lauren Shuler Donner.
Povestea filmului va fi bazata pe banda desenata a lui Frank Miller si Chris Claremont lansata in 1980, si va avea loc in Japonia unde Wolverine va avea de-a face cu ninja alternand de la instinctul ucigas animalic si noua viata sub codul de onoare si respect a samuraiului.

THR has announced that Oscar winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, of The Usual Suspects, The Way of the Gun, and Valkyrie most recently, has been hired by Fox to write the next Wolverine movie.
Hugh Jackman is set to return and will also produce along with Lauren Shuler Donner. The movie’s story line will take its cue from the early 1980s Frank Miller / Chris Claremont mini-series, which is set in Japan and has Wolverine dealing with ninjas as he struggles whether to follow his animal killer instincts or a new life under a samurai’s code of honor and respect.
