Cu toate ca nu s-a anuntat nimic oficial, o data de lansare ceva, pentru filmele The Hobbit, Ian McKellen a declarat pentru The Bolton News ca se va intoarce in rolul lui Gandalf si ca filmarile incep din luna ianuarie.
Cele doua filme “Hobbit” (care vor fi filmate in acelasi timp) inca nu au un regizor, dar cel mai potrivit ar fi ca scenaristul-producator Peter Jackson sa se ocupe si de regie (cum a procedat si cu trilogia “Lord of the Rings”). Daca problemele financiare nu afecteaza MGM si problemele cu drepturile de autor sau rezolvat, ne asteptam ca studioul sa faca un anunt in curand.

Although official word on a resolution to The Hobbit’s troubled production has not been yet been announced, Ian McKellen has just told The Bolton News that he will be returning as Gandalf and that, “the aim is to start filming in January.”
Two “Hobbit” films (which will be shot back to back) are still officially without a director, but it is has been heavily suggested that writer/producer Peter Jackson will helm (as he did with all three “Lord of the Rings” films). Regardless, if the financial issues surrounding MGM and their share of the rights have been resolved, expect an studio announcement very soon.
