Deadline raporteaza ca va exista un serial de televiziune numit “Transporter” ce va fi bazat pe franciza de trei parti produsa de Luc Besson si a sa EuropaCorp. In filme rolul principal a fost interpretat de Jason Statham. Inca nu s-a confirmat ce televiziune va emite acest serial.

Cu un buget alocat de 48 de milioane de dolari, serialul va avea 12 episoade si vor incepe filmarile devreme in 2011 iar in noiembrie va incepe sa fie difuzat. Compania de productie franceza Lagardere Entertainment va finanta serialul avand licenta “The Transporter” de la EuropaCorp.
EuropaCorp cauta sa faca si un serial bazate pe filmul “Taken” dar nu inainte ca Liam Neeson (detinatorul rolului principal in film) sa inceapa filmarile partii a doua a filmului, din primavara.
Besson filmeaza la Lockout in Polonia; filmul de gen sci-fi-actiune ii are ca protagonisti pe Guy Pearce si Maggie Grace, si va fi lansat la inceputul anului 2012 de catre FilmDistrict.

Deadline is reporting that a network has come on board the “Transporter” TV show that will be based on the three-picture franchise from Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp that starred Jason Statham. EuropaCorp is keeping the network name under wraps for now.
The site says shooting on the $48 million, 12-part series will start early next year, with the first episodes being delivered in early November. French producer Lagardere Entertainment is financing the show, having licensed “The Transporter” from EuropaCorp.
EuropaCorp is also looking into developing a “Taken” series, but not until after Liam Neeson starts shooting the sequel in the spring.
Besson himself is shooting Lockout in Poland and will wrap before Christmas. The sci-fi action film, starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace, will be released in early 2012 by FilmDistrict.
