Asa numitul “rege al lumii” cinematografice, James Cameron a mai facut un film care a reusit sa depaseasca pragul de 1 miliard de dolari incasari, cu cel de-al cincilea film al sau, Avatar.
Rapoartele (conform Variety) spun ca filmul lui James Cameron, Avatar a depasit suma de 352.1 milioane de dolari in acest weekend atingand fabuloasa suma de 1 miliard, in toata lumea, in numai 17 zile.
Box Office Mojo afiseaza topul filmelor cu cele mai mari incasari, printre care se numara : The Dark Knight (1.001 miliarde de dolari), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (1.07 miliarde de dolari), Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (1.1 miliarde de dolari) si Titanic (1.8 miliarde de dolari).

The true cinematic “king of the world” has made another movie that has earned over $1 billion worldwide at the box office, only the fifth movie in history to ever do so. Early reports are indicating (via Variety) that James Cameron’s Avatar will pass $352.1 million domestically this weekend pushing it just over the $1 billion mark worldwide in only 17 days.
