Paramount Pictures l-au cooptat pe John Singleton sa regizeze si Lorenzo di Bonaventura sa fie producatorul filmului The Wheelman, o adaptare dupa un joc video produs de Ubisoft pe nume Wheelman.
Jocul s-a lansat luna trecuta si-l are pe Vin Diesel in rolu principal dar si ca producator al jocului.
In film, Diesel va juca rolul unui sofer cu experienta care este rechemat sa protejeze o femeie din trecutul sau.
Rich Wilkes este scenaristul iar echipa de scriitori Oliver Butcher si Stephen Cornwell au revizuit scenariul.
Di Bonaventura (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) va fi producatorul impreuna cu Diesel si partenera sa de la One Race Films, Samantha Vincent.

Paramount Pictures has set John Singleton to direct and Lorenzo di Bonaventura to produce The Wheelman, a live-action adaptation of the Ubisoft video game “Wheelman.” The game launched last month, with Diesel as its main character and the game’s producer.
Diesel will play an expert driver who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past.
Rich Wilkes wrote the script; the writing team of Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell did a rewrite.
