John si Kate, care au pierdut un copil de curand si adopteaza o fetita de 9 ani, Esther, care nu este chiar asa inocenta cum pare a fi. Ingrijorata pentru siguranta familiei Kate incearca sa-l faca pe John si pe ceilalti sa vada trecutul lui Esther si partea buna a ei… dar e posibil sa fie cam tarziu.
Orphan este regizat de spaniolul Jaume Collet-Serra ( House of Wax, Goal II: Living the Dream). Povestea a fost scrisa de incepatorul Alex Mace iar scenariul a fost scris de un alt incepator pe nume David Johnson.
Warner Brothers pregateste sa lanseze Orphan in cinematografe din 24 iulie.

John and Kate, who recently lost their baby, adopt a 9-year-old girl named Esther who is not nearly as innocent as she claims to be. Concerned for the safety of her family, Kate tries to get John and others to see past Esther’s sweet facade. But her warnings go unheeded until it may be too late… for everyone.
Orphan is directed by Spanish filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra, of only House of Wax and Goal II: Living the Dream previously. The story was written by first-timer Alex Mace and the screenplay was also written by first-timer David Johnson. Warner Brothers will debut Orphan in theaters everywhere on July 24th.
